Meredith Butenoff

Meredith Butenoff has been awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award, the ACE (Advocates for Character and Education). She was awarded academic merit scholarships for each school that she applied to, but notably to mention – awarded the Furman Max Heller Scholarship which is given based on community service; Furman Hollingsworth Scholarship for her community service which includes her involvement with PAALS (Palmetto Animals Assisted Life Services) and she founded Made by Mer which supports individuals with chronic illnesses and resulting disabilities. Meredith was inducted to the National Honor Society and Palmetto Fellows. While attending Eastside High School, she was actively involved with the Beta Club and Youth In Government. Also, to note Meredith has raised over $150,000 for charities in the Upstate.
