Jacob Workoetter

Jacob Workoetter served as President of the National Honor Society, Student Body Executive and member of the Outdoor and Spanish clubs while attending J.L. Mann High School. He graduated 2nd in his class and was recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction. Outside the classroom, Jacob ran cross country and played football and lacrosse where he earned awards for top midfielder and defensive MVP. Jacob also led a number of community service projects as an Eagle Scout and President of the National Honor Society, including can food drives and volunteer efforts with Habitat for Humanity.

Jacob is attending Clemson University where he is majoring in Biosystems Engineering with a Minor is Business Administration.

“The scholarship will allow me to pursue post graduate education options in the Engineering field helping me to establish a solid foundation of knowledge and experience to solve real-world issues such as environmental contamination, overpopulation and alternative sources of energy.”
