earned a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, AP Scholar award, was recognized as his High School Heisman winner, holds the State record as fastest swimmer 16 and under, was awarded JL Mann swim team MVP, and won the Palma Performance award for Team Greenville Swimming. Also, while at J.L. Mann, Heyward was active in National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Art Club. Heyward actively serves in the Greenville community by volunteering at First Presbyterian, Swimming Spirit Buddies where he mentors young swimmers, and Food Drive events. Heyward is attending Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, majoring in Biology and Chemistry.
